Winegrower discovery - Domaine Specht

This activity is reserved for the "Epi-curious"! Upon arrival at the Domaine, participants are invited to discover the soul of our vineyards through a walk lasting about an hour and a half. Between vineyards, streams and almond trees, this walk is an opportunity to discuss the cultivation practices of the Domaine and to enjoy different viewpoints from the Grand Cru Mandelberg on the Alsace plain, the Vosges and the medieval cities of Riquewihr and Zellenberg.

This epic journey continues with a visit to our cellar. Between tuns, barrels and stainless steel vats, we will have the opportunity to talk about the winegrower's job and the wine-making process.

We extend the experience with a unique sensory activity, in the depths of our cellar we invite participants to rediscover their senses through three activities.

Firstly, the participants use their sense of smell to detect the different aromas of the wine.

Secondly, the participants' taste buds are called upon. Indeed, through the tasting of flavoured waters we invite the participants to detect where the taste buds that detect the 4 primary flavours are located.

Finally, after the effort, the comfort, we end this animation by the tasting of 3 original food-wine combinations with local and artisanal products.
